Previously Jane was CEO of ScotlandIS the industry body for the digital and technology industries in Scotland. Working with ScotlandIS, led the development of specialist technology industry clusters in Scotland with a focus on creating international opportunities and sector growth.
Jane is passionate about Scotland’s opportunity to gain international recognition as a leader in carbon reduction, innovation in multiple sectors and as a country that works collaboratively at a national level. In 2020 Jane worked on Connecting Scotland (the Scottish Government led digital inclusion programme), and the Digital Nation Challenge in partnership with the Scottish Government’s Digital Directorate, and as part of the crisis response she worked closely with both Scottish and UK Governments to provide industry insight and expertise in funding and support requirements and innovative solutions.
Jane is a highly experienced executive, a former strategy and transformation specialist with 25 years’ experience working across the public and private sector. She has held senior roles in industry, third sector and public sector organisations.
